Introduction

The tour starts at the Museum of Occupations and Freedom and ends in the Old Town, in the cells of the former KGB pre-trial prison headquarters. The joint tour provides a comprehensive overview of the horrible crimes committed during the occupation, the sense of hope that helped people survive in prisons and prison camps, the capacity to survive at home and abroad, and the life and destiny of Estonians. We will take a look at corruption and injustice at the KGB Prison cells, while Vabamu will give us a glimpse of a brighter future. This exciting joint tour provides an extensive overview of Estonia’s recent history.
