On March 31, members of the Arizona Legislature gathered in Phoenix, Arizona, for a bipartisan seminar, organized with the support of Vabamu. Mr. Luukas Ilves, a former Estonian Undersecretary for Digital Transformation, and Mr. Andrew Thompson, Managing Director of LifeSpeed Ventures, who is actively involved in Vabamu’s Supervisory Council, presented insights on Estonia’s advanced digital governance.
Majority Leader Michael Carbone emphasized the need for modernization, stating, “Arizona families deserve a government that works smarter and wastes less.” The event reflected the Republican Majority’s commitment to reforming government operations and enhancing transparency. Representative Tony Rivero noted that Estonia’s model demonstrated that efficiency could be achieved without expanding bureaucracy.
