On September 9 at 4:00 p.m., we are inviting everyone to Vabamu for a film screening by the Embassy of Georgia. Anuna Bukia‘s documentary “I swam Enguri” reflects the attempt of a refugee from the 1990s Georgian-Abkhazian war to return to her former homeland 24 years later.

The film will be followed by a discussion on the effects of the 2008 Russian invasion of Georgia. Participants in the discussion:

Ruslan Abashidze – Head of Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, Georgia
Martin Vaino – Curator and Head of Exhibitions, Vabamu Museum of Occupations and Freedom
Ekke Nõmm – Director of the Estonian School of Diplomacy (ESD)
