I have had a wonderful experience as an intern at the Johan Skytte Institute of Political Studies in Tartu, Estonia this summer! As a research assistant to Professor Piret Ehin, I researched the institutions and politics of the European Union. I will also soon be publishing an article on genetic privacy for an Estonian newspaper. The highlights of my summer in the Baltics were the trips to Tallinn, Riga, and Vilnius organized by Vabamu.
