Temporary Exhibition


Solomon Gerschow (1906 - 1989) art exhibition “GULAG art” at the KGB Prison Cells. Gerschow made the artworks during his time in a GULAG camp where he visualized his fellow prisoners inside this vast system of prisons. After being released from the camp, he said, “I imagined that all of this is not happening to me, but I am an observer.” The exhibition has been put together by art historian Olga Sugrobova-Roth and Tanya Rubinstein-Horowitz. It will remain open until the 17th of May.
