Living in Tallinn, I was immersed in this country\u2019s rich history and culture at night and weekends (my favorite being spa and sauna culture) while working for a diverse, international institution by day. One of the unexpected joys of interning at NATO CCDCOE was the opportunity to meet and befriend colleagues from across NATO member states and across the world, while collaborating together on important and valuable research for the future of cyber in NATO. In addition, Vabamu\u2019s trips organized by Kadri to Riga and Vilnius not only gave me the opportunity to visit other parts of the Baltics, but also to meet with government officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia and Lithuania and ask them questions that directly pertained to my internship at NATO CCDCOE.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Interning at a leading global cyber research institution such as NATO CCDCOE for the summer was an unforgettable opportunity.
